Within the Sovereign Universe, Ezra remains perfectly still.
He neither spoke nor moved.
His own heartbeat echoed through his ears.

He stays still, thinking all sorts of things as a full minute passes.
Only then did his expression turn lively again.
'Let's see if it's over'
The scenery around him was distorted.
The cold returned, as well as the snowy landscape.
Ezra emerged with full vigilance, ready to retreat at the slightest irregularity.
His gaze immediately swept across the sky.
Nothing.
No descending projectiles, no incoming psychic scream, no movement.
Only an all too eerie silence.
Another several seconds passed before he finally lessened his vigilance a bit seeing that his instincts are not reacting to anything.
His eyes wander…a chill crawling down his spine the next moment.
