Since the main goal of this assassination operation was to capture a Venerable, Fang Ze had to first consider the probability of success and the possibility of escape if the operation failed.
Initially, he considered conducting a thorough investigation in the Heaven Beyond the Heavens, to see if there was a Venerable who often acted alone, recruited fewer Demigods, and lived in a more isolated place. He would then opportunistically seize the chance to make a move.
Or, wait until the Blue Blood Venerable's forces were scattered, then directly attack the Blue Blood Venerable.
