According to the Rakshasa's explanation, a Demigod is a very mystical existence. In essence, they are considered as the agents of the World Origin in this world.
A Demigod, recognized by the World Origin, has the "authority" to freely invoke and alter the Power of Laws in this world. They also have the legitimate justice to execute the right to kill on behalf of the World Origin: what is known as acting on behalf of Heaven, free from consequences.
And precisely because Demigods are needed to exercise this right on behalf of the "World Origin," the World Origin also grants Demigods a power boost beyond ordinary creatures.
However, power cannot arise from nothing, so to possess such strength, one must collect enough special resources and convert them into power through rituals, absorbing them into the body. This ritual is known as the Deification Ritual.
