Awakened have many communities on Earth apart from Guilds and other work-related stuff. Awakened like to flaunt their power and wealth, and at the same time, seek connections with other awakened.
Everyone does this, because it is important, and shows them how special they are. Alan Peccator is one of the rare few that does not. He does not go to parties, He is not involved in events at Shield. The only event he is ever involved in was the Academic Convergence, where he shocked the world and promptly left the main stage.
He is not someone who is active in the awakened circles, and this confuses most, but at the same time, adds intrigue.
