[Much like how our bastard of a Creator wishes to become the greatest universe and one or above with the weave, the creator of that universe had a goal too. Our's created the three progenitors to wage war, while that one... was simply uninterested in anything, fascinated by nothing.
Nothingness as a concept. The Universal conscience of that universe became the place of birth for the [Null] affinity, and slowly, Nothingness consumed everything, and eventually, the Universal Conscience became Nothingness. It's a bit of a difficult thing to understand.
