Rui's eyes widened with shock as he felt a profound shift in nature.
He could feel an ephemeral change in the very constitution of nature around him, sending chills across his skin.
Up until then, his senses and intuition told him that he was facing a large number of flora lifeform opponents. Now, however, he felt he was facing a more singular opponent that possessed power exceeding the sum of the parts.
He felt the minds and bodies of others converging into an overlapping existence.
They were separate still, yet so close that they may as well have been a singular existence.
A tremendous flux of information from mind to mind and a great flush of energy from body to body surged across the entire landscape.
The darkness of the night sky in which he found himself floating seemed to only grow more perilous. Primordial Instinct rang loud alarms in his head, warning him of the power that was coursing through the lands that he found himself in.
