Amare stared at the spot where Rui had been standing one moment prior as her eyes widened with shock.
"…Rui?"
One moment, he had been right there with her.
The very next moment, however, Rui was gone.
She wasn't sure how to even react to such an absurd event.
People did not randomly disappear out of thin air.
On top of that, the cocoon was closed, so it begged the question of how he even left.
"Wait," her expression grew tense. "What if he wasn't here from the start?"
Did she dream him up this entire time?
Then, was her night with him also not real?
Her cheeks flushed as she recalled all the things he did to her, before shaking her head.
"Nonono, there's no way that was fake!" She refused to believe it. "Not to mention…"
She had sensed the traces of space-time manipulation with ripples through the fabric of reality.
Something had happened to Rui.
BANG!
With a single blow, she broke out of the cocoon that Rui had created for them.
