All the honourable thoughts Yosef Gideon had towards this Muslim warrior evaporated. He thought he was going to face a warrior, but it seemed he was facing a braggart turned warrior.

It seemed his opponent was overlooking him, and this pissed him off. Meanwhile, the distance between them had reduced, and he could engage him.
