The next day.
Early in the morning, Jiang Ye was the first to wake up, not having the heart to disturb the woman sleeping beside him. He got out of bed as lightly and carefully as he could.
When he left the master bedroom, by chance, the door next door opened too.
Jiang Yuan was bleary-eyed. If it weren't for her nine o'clock class this morning, she wouldn't have gotten up this early.
But who knew she'd see a demon upon opening her door?
"Bro, good morning," she said.
"Hmm."
Big brother, she's your very own sister!
Do you have to be so cold?
Jiang Yuan was suddenly wide awake, speechless.
But Jiang Ye was utterly unaware of this sentiment, and he went to the kitchen, poured a glass of water, and gulped it down.
Coming back out, he didn't even check his sister's reaction:
"If your sister-in-law wakes up, tell her I've gone down to exercise."
"Oh, okay."
