I watched loathingly as Liana struggled helplessly under Jaime's aggressive and horrible torture while he laughed out loud like a maniac. I was about to jump at him and tear him apart with my sharp claws when everything suddenly went blank.
"Where is she? Where?" I frantically looked around, hitting my paws harshly on the fog as I ran hysterically without any awareness of my direction. A sense of hopelessness filled my heart when I couldn't find her anymore.
"Luke, wake up. wake up." I heard a familiar distant voice call at me but I paid no attention. I began to run further into the fog but then realized that I was running in circles again.
That was when I stopped to study my surroundings again. In the thick fog, there was no life in it, I seemed to be the only one breathing, and then, I felt more powerful than usual because my eyes felt uniquely sharper than before. I could feel it. It was potent, dominant, and ruthless. Like a true Alpha.
