Third person POV
By afternoon, at around 5 p.m., Arturo purchased a Filipino plastic utility box from a Filipino household goods store, so he could store away Filipino and Japanese snacks for the entire Agency to try this afternoon snack-time after their day of hard work. As both of them are approaching the red brick building. "Wow, that box looks practical…" Atsushi commented.
"Yup, anyone who needed to store anything bigger than a shoulder bag or a handbag would need this thing!" Arturo chirped while glancing at the box and at the elevator.
As the elevator went to the fourth floor, Atsushi said to Arturo, "Hey, thanks for the snacks, and for your intervention against Akutagawa-san back there."
"Any time," Arturo replied brightly.
They both emerged from the elevator once it stopped on the fourth floor and entered the office of the ADA. There, Arturo placed his plastic box on the unused desk and popped the lid open, revealing the snacks from the boardwalk park. As Arturo settled down to do his short assignment for Human Behaviour, which was an essay for the subject's third chapter, many in the Agency gathered around to see the snacks inside it.
Ranpo took off his glasses and glanced at the plastic box with intrigue. "Wow…what is that strange plastic basket?"
"It's a simple plastic utility box," replied Arturo while writing the answers on the questions section of his hardcover Human Behaviour textbook with a pencil (better than an ink pen). "In the Philippines, it was essential for anyone, especially during typhoons."
Ranpo was stunned.
"What are these snacks?" Junichiro asked while picking up a Cheese Stick.
Kunikida picked up a fish ball with a pair of chopsticks. "What is this? A fish Takoyaki?"
Arturo explained about each of the Filipino snacks inside the box while writing his answers down, and Atsushi helped out with the explanation. After that, they got it and picked whatever snack they wanted. Dazai almost snatched a lot with his right hand when Kunikida swatted his hand with his Ideals notebook. "Don't be greedy!"
Arturo dropped his pencil temporarily and fashioned a cup of Fish Balls, Kikyam, Takoyaki Balls, Cheese Sticks, and French Fries using a paper cup from the coffee vending machine and gave it to Dazai. "Here, don't be greedy with food."
As Arturo continued his homework, Dazai munched on his crammed cup of snacks.
Naomi got some from the box, and she started feeding them to Junichiro in a lovey-dovey way. Arturo hears that and sees that and thinks in his mind, "Yeah, that dynamic is weird. I don't know if I could use their profiles for my Human Behaviour essay…"
He then shrugged off that thought as Atsushi explained to everyone in the office about Akutagawa's failed ambush on him in the boardwalk park and how Arturo restrained the Mafia executive with his shadows for him.
They, who already knew Arturo's previous skirmishes and fights with the Port Mafia, saw his patience and cleverness as something else…
"Yeah, he didn't even turn around from the stand," Atsushi added.
"He is smarter than we thought..." Yosano replied while holding a Cheese stick like a scapel.
