"Mom, I love you!" Lenny said earnestly.
"Just don't make Mom worry, and Mom will be very happy!"
"Mom, I won't. I'll take good care of myself, and Even Tunner also cares a lot about me!"
"Mom, don't cry. I just wanted to tell you that I love you!" Lenny quickly said.
"Mom, I'm not crying. Study hard over there, don't run around. Discuss things with Emmett if you need to!" Helen Lindsey took a deep breath and instructed as calmly as she could.
"Mom, I know. You guys don't have to worry about me; I'm doing great!
Mom, take good care of yourself too, you, Dad, and Grandma!"
"Got it. Your Grandma is in the room. Do you want to talk to her for a bit?" Helen asked.
"Sure!" Lenny replied.
Helen took the cordless phone into the grandmother's room.
Lenny chatted with Grandma for a while before reluctantly hanging up the phone.
Sitting on the sofa, still feeling a bit uncomfortable!
If I had known, I wouldn't have called home.
