Even Tunner finished the call, turned around, and sized up Lenny.
Lenny immediately felt a bit awkward, then lowered her head to check herself, unsure if she was wearing her clothes inside out or if something else was amiss.
Even Tunner had already walked over, took her hand, and said,
"So, you spent so long searching for clothes just to match outfits with me!"
"Huh?" Lenny looked at Mr. Tunner in shock.
"Isn't that right?" Even Tunner smiled lightly and asked back. "The same sweater and jeans, and they're even in the same color scheme!"
Lenny only then noticed that the clothes she had changed into really matched Mr. Tunner's in color and style!
She had spent all that time choosing outfits earlier; how hadn't she noticed?
Lenny hadn't had time to explain before Even Tunner was already leading her out of the bedroom.
As they went downstairs, Lenny felt almost as if she were walking the red carpet.
