"Lenny, are you sure you want to ask this question?"
"Of course!" Lenny replied with a blush.
"If you ask this question, then you owe me a question!"
"No problem!"
"I thought you already knew the answer!"
"I don't know!"
"Alright, I do like you, girl!"
"Uh, did you misunderstand what I meant?
What I meant by 'like' is that kind, not the kind you're talking about!" Lenny said awkwardly.
"Is there a difference?" Even Tunner asked from the other end of the phone.
"Is there a difference between 'I love you' and 'I like you'?" Lenny immediately countered.
After speaking, she couldn't help but groan; what was she even saying!
Lenny covered her suddenly burning face, wanting to take back what she had just said.
There was silence on the other end of the phone.
Lenny was about to say, let's pretend I didn't ask anything.
Then she heard Even Tunner slowly say from the other end,
"I love you, Lenny!"
Lenny was stunned.
