Lenny immediately burst into even more laughter.
So Mr. Tunner has such a comical side too!
"Haha, I don't believe you!
Mr. Tunner, is there any benefit to marrying me?
You can't just keep it all to yourself, you have to share it with me!"
"In the future, I'll have to split half my personal assets with you,
does that count as sharing?" Even Tunner asked with a smile.
"Alright, alright, you look like you're quite wealthy!" Lenny nodded vigorously in response.
"But you can only get it after we divorce," Even Tunner added a jab.
Lenny blinked and said speechlessly,
"Why don't you just give it to me directly? Why make it so complicated?"
"It's not possible to give it directly, because that's considered marital property.
If we don't get married, we're not a couple, so no marital property," Even Tunner patiently explained.
"Ugh..." Lenny's calculations were off.
Oh well, she wasn't really that covetous of Mr. Tunner's assets.
