Daniel turned and looked at Ellen and said in his usual smiling face "hello sweet sister, it's been a while, how have you been all these years". Ellen's smiling face changed.
"Danny you are not my brother"she said seriously.
"But you're like a sister to me Ellen and you'll always be" He answered smiling.
Ellen got angry and pulled her suitcases. 'Why does he keep doing this to her' When she reached outside, she flagged a taxi and it stopped.
"Don't be silly Ellen, you know I came to pick you up" Ellen ignored and entered the taxi but Daniel pulled her suitcases to his side. The driver who had a quick temperament wasn't ready for any drama so sacked Ellen from the car.
"Ellen stop being childish" Daniel shouted.
"I should stop being childish? Danny I'm twenty two now, do you still see me as a child?" Daniel was quiet. He put his hands in his pocket and looked around.
"Answer me ! Danny why are you doing this.. you never allowed me to go out with others boys when you were around. You even sacked my date during prom night. I confessed my love to you and you tell me I'm like your sister? How do you see me Daniel? " People passing were looking at them and it made Daniel uncomfortable.
"Stop it Ellen, you're embarrassing yourself." He said and pulled her into his car and later went for her bags. When he entered the car, it looked like Ellen was already asleep. Few minutes after the drive Ellen woke up and said. "Danny where do you stay, can you please show me your house" Ellen said with a pleading face. Her mood swings surprised Daniel. Because they were almost at Daniel's house before they reach Jack's, Danny went straight to his house for Ellen to have a look. When they reached, Ellen run straight into the house. ' I'm sorry Ellen, Your brother is my best friend. I don't want to screw his younger sister, I'm afraid to loose his trust' he said to himself as he went into his house.
"Danny come over here , show me around your house" Ellen said happily 'she still behaves childishly' Daniel thought. "Ellen you know you can come anytime. You need to go home it's almost midnight. "But we're already here , is that your room?" Betty asked whiles pointing to the master bedroom upstairs and Daniel nodded. She run to the door and asked daniel to open it.
"Why do you want me to open it" he asked suspiciously.
" Come on open it and give me your phone, I just want to take pictures. Or did you dirty the room?" She asked with a teasing face and Daniel opened the door. Just then Ellen called her brother.
"Hello brother I will be sleeping over at Daniel's"
"Hey are you crazy..." Jack's words made Daniel freeze. The call was on loud speaker.
"Okay no problem, take care of her Daniel." Just when Daniel was about to oppose, Jack hanged up.
Ellen hugged Daniel and said "you heard him right, take care of me". Daniel felt as if he was in hell. If he doesn't take care, he will loose all his control.
