"Camilla! Don't you..!"
Rushing over to the pillow chair, I growled softly and pointed a finger at the snarling pup, trying to dissuade her from what she was about to do... and of course all that did was make her snarl more, so I lunged down and grabbed her by the scruff of the neck before she could toss the ball straight at Samara's face.
I tugged the ball free from her little hands and narrowed my eyes at her as I dangled her right in front of me, something that made the pup snarl even louder as she tried to claw me instead, though the moment I bared my own fangs she went limp and blinked a few times.
Those obsidian eyes and her raven black hair and fur made Camilla look so much like her Mom, and like Lady Kio had said she was even beginning to resemble her in terms of personality too since she gave me a pitiful look, like she was trying to say 'But I didn't do anything..?' despite almost hurling a ball straight at her sister.
