"No, no tears, though he definitely looked like a little scolded puppy as he sulked at the bar for a few minutes. Letting him feel that sort of rejection and stew in it might have been a bit mean, but it also made going up to him afterwards quite a lot easier since he was craving something nice."
Kavya's smirk continued to grow as she leaned back against the chair, reminiscing for a few moments before she continued on with that same amused tone, which only grew warmer as she found herself deeper inside of her own memories.
