Breakfast ended soon after that as all of the parties involved came to a 'truce' and decided that there was still time required to 'recover' from this expedition; Mom agreed wholeheartedly and practically dragged both Mother Ria and Mother out of the dining hall back to their room, while Lady Fenyras was swift to get up as well.
The Demon Wolf in particular was fascinating to me since I had expected a look or a smirk like she had been giving me for so long now, but instead she was sneering down at the Empress and looked like she was about to try and kick the towering futanari out of her chair.
Most of me was glad that she seemed to have moved on from that odd little fascination she had had with me, but I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a little saddened that she wasn't paying the same amount of attention to me as before... it was just one of those things that shouldn't matter but in a tiny part of my mind it did.
