"Oh really, okay then let's go there tomorrow. I will meet you first thing in the morning." Bruno said demandingly.
"No, I need to get there now and it is an emergency." Daerin slammed his palm on the table and then the bottle of beer Bruno was drinking got lifted and fell, spilling its contents.
Bruno was taken aback, it was quite obvious on his face that he got intimidated.
"Okay fine, you don't need to do that. It's simply because it's an emergency." Bruno added and his egoistic comment only made Rocco shake his head.
With the light of their flashlights and Bruno's torch, they pushed towards a rather bushy trail and quite rocky too. The sun had finally hidden and the moon had also been blocked by the thick dark clouds. Like as if it was only waiting to rip the last cover and let out a downpour.
"Is this the way to the foot of the cliff?" Daerin asked Bruno, there was still some part of him that was making him doubt if he could trust that man or not.
