Shi Mara Saha Maru Sa Mao Ran Desukasya—the Great Demon King of the Nine Heavens—along with his 72 Great Demon Generals, launched an attack on the Dragon race in the Orion World, the Land of Divine Dragons.
At that time, the Dragon King—the Milky Way Dragon Emperor, Ko Antares Su Qian Ye (Kotaresu Wijaya Kusumah)—formed an alliance with the Great Ruler of the Mahayana Andromeda Garuda Kingdom, Ra Hyang Rio (the Great Qin Xuan, also known as Armageddon Kenji Kira), to oppose the Demon King Shi Mara Sahamaru.
The ensuing war, which lasted for 100,000 years, claimed countless lives and caused immense suffering.
The Demon King commanded seven generals and an army of 100,000 demons, ranging from low-ranking to super-class entities. Furthermore, he had seized seven Dragon Gods: the Apocalypse Dragon God, the Emperor Dragon God, the Diamond Dragon God, the Black Dragon God, the Hundred-Dragon, the Calamity Dragon, and the Infinite Dragon God.
Opposing them stood the Dragon Emperor with five Dragon Commanders—the White Jade Dragon, Green Jade Dragon, Blue Dragon, Golden Dragon, and Black Jade Dragon—along with 20,000 Dragon soldiers and the Dragon Queen. using the blood, bones, and souls of dragons.

With the power of the Supreme God, infuse yourselves into the swords I have forged.
I create these five blades for the well-being of the world."
Sacrificing both body and soul, he forged five swords
for the welfare of the world and the universe.
This story has been passed down by word of mouth for a hundred years to this day.
All legends recount that only five knights and a single dragon
managed to survive this great war.
In a village named Heavy Rain—a village that served as a training ground
for great warriors in the Kingdom of the Dark Dragon—lived a boy named Ame Ryusaki.
An orphan, he lived in the village alongside two other children,
Anne Yume Yuki and Kuzaki Daterasu; together, they studied at the Dragon Goddess's Bee Academy.
The academy was founded by the Dragon Goddess, Ayamure Yuki,
the sole survivor of the war against the Demon King Sahamaru five hundred years prior.
That war had claimed countless lives on both Sahamaru's side

He had been left behind by his parents at the age of five

The academy was destroyed when Shin Maryu, the Crown Prince of the Demon Kingdom, attacked alongside the Queen of Darkness, Fujiyuki. At the time, all three were fifteen years old, with Kuzaki being the eldest.

While fleeing, Kuzaki encountered Amaterasu—one of the five legendary warriors who had survived the war against the Demon King. He was gifted the Lightning Dragon Sword, known as Ryuki.
Thus began the trio's journey to liberate the village of Pancurugan and the Milky Way Dragon Kingdom.
