When Ye Wan woke up, she felt momentarily lost.
It took her a long time to realize that today was the first day of the New Year, and she was at Lu Changchuan's house.
"Awake?"
As soon as Ye Wan opened her eyes, Lu Changchuan noticed.
He turned over and pulled her into his arms, "Jiang family called and said it's snowing quite a bit, and you should leave after the snow stops."
"Is it still snowing?"
With a slight hoarseness in her voice, Ye Wan couldn't help but pinch Lu Changchuan.
Thinking about how the snow had fallen all night, Ye Wan leaned over to look out the window.
Through the bright window, all she could see was a vast expanse of white, only spotting the rooftops covered in snow and the snowflakes floating down.
Ye Wan poked him, "I want to watch the snow."
"Alright."
Lu Changchuan responded, got up, and carried the girl, along with the quilt, to the bay window by the window.
The heavy snowfall danced in the wind, stunningly beautiful.
