After finishing work, I finally got around to thinking about what happened last night. I wasn't sure if I had said something I shouldn't have, or done something I shouldn't have, so I carefully opened WeChat.
The conversation with Lu Changchuan was still stuck at before our meetup last night.
"I'm at the entrance of the neighborhood."
"Okay."
And then, nothing.
Ye Wan scratched her head and cautiously sent a greeting over.
"Young Master Lu, good morning!"
1 minute.
2 minutes.
5 minutes.
After a few minutes passed without a reply from Lu Changchuan, Ye Wan started feeling a bit uneasy.
Could it be... that I really said something I shouldn't have and made him angry last night?
When there was a knock on the door, Ye Wan suddenly looked up and saw Lu Changchuan pushing the door open.
The sunlight was bright outside the floor-to-ceiling window, casting a gentle light on the handsome and tall man, adding a touch of warmth.
