The bell rang for class, but Tang Mulin couldn't care less.
She dragged Chu Jinnian out of the classroom and ran back to the apartment, slamming the door shut behind them.
Gasping for breath, Tang Mulin looked at him, her face full of confusion, "Chu Jinnian, what on earth are you trying to do?"
If she didn't get an answer soon, she felt like she would explode.
"Candy, do you even know what you're doing?"
Chu Jinnian's smile faded bit by bit, only his gaze continued to twine tenderly around Tang Mulin's face, "We grew up together, one look from you and I know what you want. Like you said, I'm the worm in your stomach."
"You said we would grow old together. But because of a nobody outsider, you want to push me away, creating a gash not only in yourself but also in my heart. Then, for the rest of your life, you'll let that wound bleed, never healing, is that right?"
She wanted to say "I didn't", Tang Mulin moved her lips, but her throat was choked up.
