"The preliminary results are out," Ye Wan said as she entered the hotel's lounge, and the team members quickly put away their phones.
She waved the notice in her hand, "All 12 of our team members have advanced."
Clap, clap, clap...
Xie Chenmin clapped his hands together repeatedly.
The sparse applause echoed in the lounge.
Xie Chenmin looked around slowly as he clapped, "Aren't you guys...happy?"
"Idiot!"
Shi Linfeng slapped him on the head, "It's just a warm-up race; what's there to be happy about? If all 12 of us reach the finals, then it'll be worth celebrating!"
That seemed to make sense.
Xie Chenmin stopped clapping and smiled sheepishly.
Continuing, Ye Wan said, "Although tomorrow is the semifinals, it's going to be much harder than the finals. I'm sending everyone the schedule and the stages, so take a look tonight."
As she spoke, cellphones chimed with notifications.
Xie Chenmin opened his phone and saw the race schedule for the semifinals that Ye Wan had sent.
