Xiao Li thought of this and turned to look at Qin Xiao. Qin Xiao glanced at the child, then looked no more, focusing intently on Xiao Li. As she turned her head, Xiao Li met his gaze.
"Uncle, this little guy is much bigger than Mianmian; no wonder it was so exhausting to give birth."
A nurse holding the child beside them laughed, "This baby is indeed heavy, 4.2 kilograms! I'll take him out to the family now."
With that, the nurse carried the baby away.
After the nurse left, Qin Xiao said, "Mianmian was born prematurely, so she was naturally smaller."
Xiao Li nodded, but then she frowned again, as she felt the contractions once more; with the contractions, the placenta had automatically been delivered.
Upon seeing that Xiao Li's placenta had been delivered, the doctor quickly attended to her and put in a couple of stitches.
Once everything was done, Xiao Li was moved out of the delivery room and taken to the ward.
Back in the ward, Xiao Li fell asleep.
