Not long after returning to Tonglin County, Shen Ying received a message from the City God Temple.
"The Snow Robe Princess has appeared on Holy Infant Mountain."
Shen Ying said with a strange expression, "There was a celestial phenomenon on Holy Infant Mountain, almost leading to its collapse. The Snow Robe Princess slaughtered the followers of the Ghost Head Infant and then vanished without a trace."
Lu Zheng looked bewildered, "What's going on? Weren't they on the same side?"
Shen Ying nodded, "They were on the same side before."
"Not anymore?"
Shen Ying nodded, "Since the Ghost Head Infant is dead, of course, they're not."
Lu Zheng blinked and asked, "Since the Snow Robe Princess was present at the time, couldn't she have realized it was a trap and thus didn't show up?"
"That's possible," Shen Ying said, "but there's another possibility..."
Tu Yuya interjected, "That Snow Robe Princess dug a trap for the Ghost Head Infant."
