"Huh... well, that's annoying," Gardenia said, crossing her arms. "What if we refine it together then? That way we can keep it!"
"Gardenia, I know you're desperate, but this isn't a world that belongs to us. It belongs to the goddess who, for some reason, ended up inside my soul," Elayne replied calmly. "Let's talk to her first and negotiate some kind of agreement, okay?"
"Uuuggh, and where is she anyway?!" Gardenia demanded, looking terribly irritated. Elayne and Mark both knew the reason: Gardenia wanted everything for herself and for them, so she could enjoy this entire Realm and perhaps live here forever. She was simply too greedy and often refused to face harsh reality.
"Come on, we've been together for a while now, haven't we?" Elayne said gently. "Don't be grumpy! Let's go. I think she's... Ah, she might be right below us."
"What? Where?!" Gardenia snapped.
"Hmm, right below us!" Elayne chuckled.
