I opened the scroll, deciding to use it right away. The first thing I saw was the scroll's runes glowing brightly. Their light shifted from blue to green, then yellow… For a second, I could understand what was written there. The runes flowed into my hands and arms, rushing through my entire body.
I could feel the knowledge and power of this scroll. I felt everything flowing through me. Once this new energy surged strongly through my body and reinforced it, I opened my eyes wide as the Spiritual Runes engraved themselves into the depths of my Spiritual Heart.
So that's how it was done. The Scroll worked similarly to how Magic Items work in Arcadia, or BNLO, I mean. They are one-time-use items that engrave power into your body or soul, and once they fulfill their purpose, they usually disappear.
