Kidnapper Cavalry were deployed on both flanks of the Iron Pagodas, their task was to flank the enemy simultaneously as the Iron Pagodas charged forward and broke through the enemy lines, thereby causing the enemy formation to collapse and quickly entering a rhythm of slaughter, like cutting melons and vegetables.
The Kidnapper Cavalry, too, were clad in armor, but in comparison with the Iron Pagodas, they retained quite a bit of mobility. This type of cavalry was equipped with both melee weapons and bows and arrows, capable of attacking from a distance and also serving as an assault force in close combat. Only when paired with Iron Pagodas could they exert their maximum killing potential.
Under the historical conditions at the time, facing such a cavalry unit, ordinary Qi Army generals were simply at a loss, even to the point of fleeing at the sight of the Iron Pagodas.
