"Who is Sofia?" Audia repeated. Her face looked disappointed.
Alvin looked at the photo, and his expression changed. Not guilty, but more of shock and frustration. "Didi, it's not what you think. That's Sofia, she used to be Papa's assistant. I asked Papa to fire her years ago because… because she crossed the line."
"What kind of line?" demanded Audia, tears streaming endlessly. "And why did Didi never know about this? Why is it surfacing now?"
"Because it wasn't important!" Alvin tried to explain, his hand reaching for Audia's cold one. "She sent me inappropriate gifts and messages. I resolved it quickly and humanely, asked Papa to transfer her to another division before she eventually resigned. I didn't tell Didi because it was a trivial matter that was already over!"
"Trivial?" Audia pulled her hand away, her voice rising. "If it was trivial, why does Riana know? Why is she sending this now?"
