Mother Winter shook her head with a smile.
The two mothers went into the kitchen together. Father Edwards was cleaning up, and Father Winter was also doing chores at home. When taking out the trash, they happened to bump into each other.
They chatted and naturally brought up the topic of starting elementary school.
Hayes Edwards is six years old this year, and by September, he'll need to prepare for school enrollment.
There's an elementary school right across from their neighborhood, near the kindergarten.
Father Winter also thought of letting Grace Winter attend this elementary school, but she's still young and it will be two more years before she starts elementary school.
Father Edwards half-jokingly suggested that Hayes could check out the school for Grace first and later protect her.
The two kids had grown up together as neighbors, so naturally, the parents were happy to see them get along so well.
