Not long after Hannah and Arnold Simmons went traveling, Jack set out too.
The exit was crowded, mostly fans packed together, and somehow they started arguing. Now everyone was stuck, waiting for security to come and disperse the crowd.
Hannah didn't rush. She found an empty seat and sat down, with Jack standing beside her.
One standing, one sitting—their height difference looked even bigger.
Hannah glanced up once before giving up on talking to Jack while looking up. "Been strolling around all this time, on your own?"
Jack let out an "Mm," then added, "With a dog."
"A dog?"
Jack said, "Picked it up along the way. It'd been abandoned—looked pretty pitiful, so I brought it along."
