Hannah was almost a head shorter than Arnold Simmons, dressed neatly in her school uniform, with a clean plain face and a ponytail, which made her look like an elementary school student next to Arnold's careless and languid demeanor.
"How old are you this year?" Arnold suddenly asked.
Hannah looked at him, locking eyes with his dark pupils, "What do you ask that for?"
Arnold looked down, and after a moment of silence, he laughed, "Just curious, you look underage."
After saying that, he continued walking forward without returning the backpack to Hannah.
Hannah had no choice but to catch up with his pace, stepping on his shadow from behind, "Is it strange to be underage? Not every high school senior is of age, are you?"
The timing of starting school is always different.
So you really can't tell age just by grade.
