As much as I enjoyed this place and found it incredibly relaxing and peaceful, we could not stay here forever. Above all else, I needed to understand what had truly happened.
Alice rested gently upon the sea of light, floating serenely as I lay against her large, soft bosom. It felt wonderfully bouncy and warm, offering a strange sense of comfort amid the confusion. I gazed downward at the gentle waves of bright, liquified colorful light that shimmered and flowed endlessly beneath us.
"So what exactly is this place, Alice? Where are we?" I asked.
"This? It is the Soul Plane," she replied calmly.
