"Huff… huff…"
"And with this, I'm finally done…" Velten just finished his running for the day and received his rewards.
"My body has grown much stronger than before in just a single week," Velten remarked while looking at his stats "I'm not saying that I hate it, but won't I look kinda suspicious if I'm growing this fast?"
Velten then switched to the store window and said while looking at it confused "I'm finally able to use the store after I reached level 5, but the prices are pretty high, even though I'm gaining gold by leveling up"
While Velten was going through the items in the store, a loud bolt of bright lightning flashed in the sky caught his attention. "It's been quite cloudy since yesterday, but I'm not feeling cold at all, even though spring just started," Velten said while looking at the sky.
"There is something wrong with this thunder, and I do not like it…"
"Whatever, I have school today, so I better go home before mom kills me…" Velten sighed and thought while walking.

Later that day between classes…
"I don't understand… Why am I still attending school?" Velten thought with an annoyed look on his face.
He sighed and said in low voice "Now that my body is stronger, I should be somewhere in the dungeon, but mom isn't convinced yet, and the system is refusing to take me to the dungeon it mentioned before for some reason…"
As he was talking to himself, Rose approached him saying, "You look quite annoyed, what's wrong?"
"School is hella boring, and Zack isn't here today since he got a fever last night"
"Hmm, that's weird… you aren't the kind of person to say that, but people change, I guess"
"Well, I think s–" Before Velten could finish talking, the place started to tremble. The books fell to the ground and the windows' glass broke. The lights started to shake aggressively until they turned off and the class became dark.
"An earthquake? No, this pressure..!" Velten thought. He then quickly looked at his classmates and shouted "This isn't a normal earthquake. Everyone get out of here, now!!"
The pressure became stronger, causing everyone to fall on their knees, not able to move a single part of their bodies, except for Velten, who was able to barely withstand this power with his current strength.
"Fck!! It is already this late…" Velten stated in disbelief.
"What is going on here, Velten?" Rose asked while trying to look into Velten.
"It's one of the open raids. However, the association should have informed the citizens about it, since these raids can be predicted"
"Would it be that they couldn't predict this exact raid? But… why?" Velten thought to himself.
"The sentinels should arrive so–"
"Kyaaaah–!!" A screaming was coming from the next class. (I genuinely don't know how girls scream).
Velten quickly opened the door and rushed towards the next class. Five red orcs that broke into the class were holding axes and surrounding the students, while slowly getting close to them.
"This is bad…!!" Velten thought with his brows tilted worriedly. "If those orcs got to the student, none of them will stay alive, and the sentinels still haven't arrived yet".
One of the orcs suddenly moved fast and was about to attack. Velten was left with no other choice but to take a step in, so he shoved his hand into the inventory and pulled his dagger.
Velten dashed forward, and when he got near the orc, he jumped while holding the dagger tightly with both hands, and stabbed the orc in the back of his neck.
The orc tried to reach Velten with its hand and take him down. However, Velten used his strength to move the dagger and cut the orc's head, leaving the dead body to fall to the ground.

Velten ignored the notifications and picked up the axe that the orc dropped on the ground. He then turned to the students and shouted "Stay behind me, this is dangerous!!"
Another orc stepped forward to attack Velten, but Velten quickly threw the axe at the orc's head and dashed towards it.
The orc waved his axe to stop him, but Velten dodged down, and before the orc could move again, he pierced its chest with the dagger and pulled the axe out of the orc's head, and rushed towards the other orcs. Velten faced some problems against the other three, but he eventually got rid of them.
Velten was standing there with his body covered in the orcs' blood, wiping his sweat and looking at the information window.

"It should have been enough time for the sentinels to arrive here," He thought while walking to the window to take a look outside "what exactly is taking them so long–"
Velten was stunned in his place when he looked outside. The sentinels had already arrived, but they couldn't enter the school because of a giant magic shield that was covering the entire school, and a big warning window was hanging in the air.

"Don't think about it so much, and just stay here with everyone away from the danger" Velten stated and jumped from the window while breaking the Mana Core to absorb its power.
Velten landed on the ground and took out his sword, staring at the huge number of monsters in front of him.
