Chapter 59 - Trapped?

As Kenta entered the store, he quickly glanced around as he looked at the clothes that were placed all around the store. They had many different varieties, allowing everyone from different ages and sizes to choose to their liking.

The store had many staircases that connected to different floors. There were many manikin dolls placed all around, wearing different clothing. Store attendants could also be seen moving about, helping customers with their search.

Another thing that he happened to notice was that everyone here wore fancy clothing and accessories, which looked rather expensive. He couldn't see a single commoner anywhere inside the store.

'I guess everything here must be really expensive; the quality of each item of clothing should also be good.' With that thought, Kenta started walking around. He received many scornful gazes from many of the people inside, but he ignored them.

He knew that his jacket was torn up from all his training yesterday, but he didn't really care about what others thought of him.

Kenta went towards the sections where there were clothes of his own size and tried putting them close to his body to see if any fits. After trying for almost an hour, he had gotten many jackets he wanted to purchase and clothing he could wear for training. However, he was also curious about what other types of clothes they might have in stock.

He went from shelf to shelf checking the different brands and styles, and occasionally putting some that had caught his interest inside his shopping bag. "Okay, this should be enough." He muttered as he looked at the many different clothes he had got, as well as the many different shoes.

"Hm?" Suddenly, Kenta raised his vigilance as he looked around and observed his surroundings attentively; he couldn't detect anything out of the ordinary.

"Was it just my imagination? For a moment, I'm certain I felt someone's killing intent being directed towards me." He muttered with a serious face.

After fighting against so many different monsters, he had become sensitive when killing intent was directed towards him.

But, with so many people moving around, it was difficult to pinpoint where exactly that killing intent was coming from. "Sigh, it really is annoying to know you have enemies watching you but can't see what your enemies are doing," Kenta said as he decided to leave as soon as possible.

He was uncomfortable being in the open while allowing his enemies to observe him from the shadows. He had gotten what he needed; there was no reason for him to linger here any longer.

However, suddenly a magic formation appeared around him, sealing off the space and blocking off any possible escape routes. An annoyed frown appeared on Kenta's face as he noticed there was an invisible wall blocking his path.

Just when he was about to curse, he heard footsteps coming from behind him. Naturally, this caught the attention of the many customers who were also within the store.

Among them was a woman wearing a cloak that hid her face; standing next to her was a handsome man with short golden hair. "It seems something very interesting is happening." The man with golden hair said, his face perked up in interest. Meanwhile, as for the woman wearing a cloak, she looked at the commotion without any change in her expression.

Kenta's blue eyes narrowed slightly as he saw the people coming out of the sea of crowds.

Two elderly men were holding either swords or spears, respectively, while a rather chubby man dressed in an extravagant suit was walking calmly in the middle.

His eyes were filled with self-confidence and a hint of mockery as he gazed at Kenta, trapped within the magic formation like a rabbit trapped within a cage.

However, once Kenta's eyes had landed on the figure of Tony, all his anger and frustration instantly disappeared and were replaced with indifference instead.

He naturally knew that Tony was going to start something with him once he got the chance, so he had been keeping up his vigilance whenever he was outside. But he never imagined he would be bold enough to go after him in such a fancy store. However, when Kenta heard some of the attendants call Tony respectfully by the title "Young master", all his doubts were instantly cleared. "Ah, his father owned the biggest companies, right? I guess it wouldn't be strange for him to own this place too..." Kenta heaved a sigh as he thought of how unfair this world really is. Once Tony was at a distance of ten feet, his movement came to a halt as he smirked at Kenta.

"I bet you weren't expecting to die when you woke up today. Though if you want to blame someone, blame yourself for your own arrogance." Tony said coldly. "My own arrogance?" Kenta raised an eyebrow. He really wanted to ask which one of them was the arrogant one here, but instead shook his head. 'No need to waste time on a dead man.' He thought.

Suddenly, Tony's face became serious as he glared at Kenta. "You will pay for the humiliation you showed me that time, it's time I pay you back in full!" His angry voice thundered inside the store.

"Hmm... how strange." The woman wearing a cloak suddenly said. "Strange, what's strange?" The blonde-haired man asked.

"Usually, most commoners would be panicking and sobbing in situations like this, but... This child's feet are firm, and his gaze is serious and filled with nothing but indifference. It's not a gaze someone his age should have." The woman muttered. Another thing she noticed was that his aura felt strangely powerful and yet weak at the same time.

It gave her an uncomfortable feeling for a boy of his age.

"Yeah, I also notice that... it seems coming here wasn't a mistake after all." The blonde-haired man said as he folded his arms.

"I'm surprised you can keep your calm while being trapped within this barrier. Keeping calm won't be able to save you here! If you get down on your knees and put on a good show for our spectators, then maybe I'll think about it." He said with a smirk. It was obvious he wasn't going to let him live. Tony just wanted to embarrass him in front of the crowds of people.

Many of the people also looked at Kenta with expectant gazes, some had smirks on their faces, while some looked at him without hiding their mockery, and others just sent him a look of pity. However, Kenta's ever-indifferent expression didn't waver at all!

"Trapped? What gave you the impression that I was the one trapped?" Kenta asked, as the corners of his lips were upturned. Maybe if Tony had done this before Kenta had raised his control over his purple lightning, then things might have been difficult, but now...

RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

Purple lightning crackled around Kenta's body. Soon, another layer of barrier covered them from within, trapping them! No one outside could interfere with them from the outside, while at the same time, those within couldn't break free, nor could anyone escape. "Tsk, you!" Tony glared hatefully at Kenta, who stood calmly in the distance.

"Purple lightning! How interesting, I've never heard of that type of lightning before." The blonde-haired man said. "Me neither, this boy he's..." The woman stared intensely at the back of the young blonde-haired boy with deep curiosity.

Kenta chuckled pleasantly, "From the moment you showed yourself, you were the ones trapped." He said coldly. Though Kenta frowned as he thought of how troublesome and disadvantageous this situation was. If he killed the son of a famous businessman before the eyes of so many people, then many problems awaited him in the future. 'What other choice do I have? I'll use my right of self-defence.' He thought.

"Tch, you break his legs, remember, don't kill him!" Tony shouted at the man holding a spear in his hand. The man was tall and wore armour that protected his upper body. Kenta observed his spear and narrowed his eyes; he couldn't sense any trace of energy from the spear. 'That spear isn't enchanted with any kind of abilities. Are they underestimating me?' Kenta wondered.

Soon, the man holding the spear smirked; he subconsciously released his aura, which instantly covered the surroundings. Many of the people gathered there fell to their knees, unable to withstand the heavy pressure.

However, the woman wearing a cloak and the blonde-haired man didn't even waver when feeling his aura; it was as if his powerful aura meant nothing before them.

However, Kenta's face grimaced slightly as his feet became weak when feeling the heavy pressure. His legs were slightly bent, but he didn't fall to his knees. He refused to allow himself to bow before anyone; it was an instinctual feeling that he was superior!

The man holding the spear raised an eyebrow as he saw Kenta still standing on his feet. A smirk appeared on his face as his legs moved forward with his spear held tightly in his hand.

The man stabbed fiercely forward with a swift and graceful motion of his arm; many of the spectators watching were unable to keep up with his movements, and even Tony had a hard time following the fluid movements. However, purple lightning flickered around Kenta's body as he moved.

Soon, the spear of the man stabbed at the place where Kenta stood, penetrating his shoulder.

Seeing that Tony's face brightened instantly as he thought of how scared and frustrated Kenta would be when he finally realised the difference between them.

He chuckled pleasantly just thinking about it. However, "It's over." The woman wearing a cloak said. The blonde-haired man nodded his head as he watched the scene unfold.

"Hahah! As I thought your nothing but a clueless idiot who doesn't know his place." Tony cackled in gleeful laughter.

Meanwhile, the man holding the spear frowned as he noticed he didn't feel any obstruction, as though his spear had stabbed through space!

Suddenly, his face became pale as a feeling of death assaulted him! "Since you came here with the full intentions of killing me, allow me to return the favour." A deathly cold voice sounded from behind him.
