The moment Jacob established Autarch's identity as the real Heretic, everything became clear, and some of the blank spaces in this entire event started to fill on their own.
For example, when the Artifact Spirit mentioned the part about the Heretic position being exposed, which enabled Whiteness to track him all the way to the Serpent Abyss Forest, it was most likely because Autarch wasn't with Jacob.
'But this is still quite strange, after all, Autarch was born way before I opened the infinite space, which means the interference mentioned by Whiteness's backer is probably related to me or…Cursed Immortality!'
Jacob's eyes flared with a hint of surprise when he thought about this possibility, but he knew it was most likely true.
Nonetheless, Jacob's mind stirred when he thought about what would have happened if he hadn't wished to teleport directly to Autarch's position and instead had gone somewhere else and allowed Autarch to roam on its own!
