The four arrived back at the house, a bit tired of what had happened. Especially Cipher, who had just been in a series of unfortunate and tiring events. And what greeted them in their front yard was none other than Josie, still wearing glasses and Pajama. She had forgotten to change, constantly worrying about the four despite being occupied with her study for an upcoming exam.
"So, is it done?" Josie asked, but their faces showed hints of solemnness and sadness. "Did something happen?"
Cipher couldn't respond as he was in the state where he blames himself for Edison's current condition. In fact, his mind was in turmoil with self-accusations that his friends state is his fault.
If only he had anticipated and prepared more for the outbreak. If only he was strong enough that time. If only he had done better. Those were the words circulating in his head as he walked inside and up to his room, moving like a mindless zombie.
