Lin stared at him as though processing several problems at once. "I am not your son."
"Temporary situation," Zhong Sihan waved off. "Soon-to-be permanent. It's destiny."
Shui resisted the urge to twitch her brows. "...Please stop talking like that in public."
Zhong Sihan ignored the plea entirely. "Go on, then. Go sit on the swing. And if someone dares to cut the queue in front of my future son, I will drag their ancestors out of their graves."
Shui breathed out. "That is extremely violent."
"That is extremely love."
She was dumbfounded. Love wasn't the kind of word she expected to come out of Zhong Sihan's lips ever.
"What? I can talk about mushy stuff too. Which reminds me that I haven't accepted you two."
Lin said, "We are not dating."
"So you just came to play here with the children?"
"It's our day off."
"Which you could have spent separately rather than together."
"What's your point?"
"That I don't accept you two."
