Shui cried. She didn't know why. Whether it was the bottled up feelings from all this time or meeting Alix or seeing Jin in jail or something else - She had just wanted to let it out.
"Ughhh I hate you so much!"
Alix was left shaken for a moment with her sudden outburst, but she understood her fury all too well. On the contrary, her calm demeanor was beginning to unnerve her. She had expected a slap at the very least for Jin's outrageous path to fall in love with her.
Yet here she was - poised, calm and understanding as always.
"I know you hate me. Thank you for telling me that. I really needed to hear that."
Somebody else who should be telling me this is in fucking jail. Finally, I saw some normalcy in someone, Alix thought.
But it hurt. Seeing Shui cry still hurt her.
Shui saw her slowly offering her a tissue with a complicated expression. It was clear that she wanted to do something but didn't know what exactly. But it was clear she just didn't want to sit still.
