Shui collapsed on the couch with the loss of her back-to-back defeats, whereas Lin held perfect records. Her teeth gritted with annoyance.
Usually, she wasn't the kind of a person to get petty about things like wins and losses in games but the situation with Lin felt completely different.
The entire saga of the past life started with Yahui and Lin's involvement in their life and as much as she knew that Lin wasn't a really bad guy at heart, she just couldn't swallow the bitterness.
Then there was Yuze's confession to her which was putting her in a conundrum. He was a decent guy and seemed genuine about his feelings. Shui thought that this could be destiny's way of helping her move on.
But something in her heart didn't feel right. Starting a relationship immediately after being left broken by Jin's rejection felt she would be using his feelings to get over him, which she absolutely didn't want.
