It had taken some while for Guiying to calm down but eventually she did. From utter disbelief to shedding tears of grief, her lips now lit up with a bright smile.
"You are getting married!"
It was a known fact for a long time now but now that she was looking at Alix as Zhan Yahui, the joy to see her dearest sister getting married was immeasurable and nonetheless in the family where her best friend, Ai was married too.
"I cannot believe you, Ai and Xing Bi are sister-in-laws…"
That wasn't a combination Guiying had ever imagined to be possible. In fact, Zhan Yahui getting married in itself was what she couldn't picture. Not because she felt she didn't deserve it but Yahui had always looked disinterested in that concept. She had never even been in a relationship before.
"And what about Liu Jin? H-He really treats you well, right? I know that they are a good family but…"
