Leoniel looked up in confusion at the loud voice, just in time to see an airship fly over the square, with over a hundred knights bearing the crest of the Franco Marquisate jumping down.
Looking at the first of them to land on the ground, a messy black-haired man, Leoniel shouted, "Gideon!? Why are you here?! I ordered you to deal with the monsters!"
In response, Gideon drew his sword and pointed it at Cellica, his expression dark as he responded.
"The monsters and the dungeon break were just a distraction, Lord Leoniel! That woman wants to isolate you here!"
"…huh?"
Gideon's words left Leoniel momentarily confused, not because he didn't know the dungeon explosion had been a distraction, but because of the claim that Cellica wanted to isolate him.
'But she just admitted she used the dungeon explosion to draw my attention away.'
