The phone rang twice before it was picked up.
A man's slightly hoarse voice came through the static, with a hint of surprise.
"Tom?"
Damon Hawke paused for a moment, lips lightly parted, "Master, no, should I call you dad?"
One sentence, and Andrew King's breathing halted.
He was stunned, surprised, let out a word, "You…"
"Let's discuss this more when I come back. Right now, there's something more important to tell you."
Damon Hawke suppressed the emotions in his heart, "My mom has been taken away. It seems their target might be you. What will you do?"
"What? Cough, cough, what exactly is going on?"
Andrew King was stunned and couldn't help but cough lightly.
Damon Hawke spared the greetings, simply said, "Someone knows about my lineage and probably wants to get to my father through my mom. I'm still in Country F, far away. You need to contact Chase Quinn immediately; he's tracking my mom's whereabouts."
Upon hearing this, Andrew King reluctantly suppressed the coughing.
