Back at the villa, Little Taotie urged, "Where's the surprise? Where is it?"
Hua Jinyan smiled and took her little chubby hand, "Come with me."
The little girl was solely focused on the surprise and didn't mind her hand being held.
They arrived at a guest room usually for visitors, and Hua Jinyan placed Little Taotie's hand on the doorknob, "Push the door open and see."
Little Taotie, curious and expectant, pushed the door open.
"Nothing special?" Little Taotie searched around the room, trying to find a gift box, but there was none.
Hua Jinyan picked up the vase on the table and started to bite it.
Little Taotie was shocked, "Are you starving?"
Hua Jinyan handed her the vase with a bite taken out of it.
Little Taotie peered closely, her big eyes filled with disbelief, "Is this cake?"
Hua Jinyan nodded, "Everything here besides the floor and walls is cake."
