Chapter 511 - 507) Egypt VI: Hanging Out

While the Weasley family was arriving at their first tourist destination, Ginny, Luna, and I were ducked into a filthy alley, hidden away with the girls panting from the adrenaline rush. The motorcycle had been abandoned in the mud, worn out after being pushed to the absolute limit of its capabilities.

Operating a vehicle was no challenge for me: combining my physical and magical capabilities, I squeezed one hundred percent of everything the machine could give. If anyone had recorded what we did, they undoubtedly would have wondered how anyone could pull off such improbable, reckless maneuvers and come out completely unscathed when, by all odds, we should have died.

The girls were overflowing with excitement. They were flushed, sweaty, and their hair was wild from the wind. Their throats ached from screaming so much, and their arms were stiff from the tight grip they had kept on me throughout the ride. At times, the sheer speed hadn't even allowed them to see the road clearly, but the experience had been... simply unforgettable.

Of course, it carried its dangers, but I used magic to ensure they wouldn't fall, which allowed them to enjoy it to the fullest. Just a moment ago, upon dismounting, their legs had trembled so much they stumbled, but after the initial shock, a flare of excitement seemed to have ignited within them.

"You have to teach me to drive!" Ginny exclaimed, letting herself be carried away by the euphoria of the moment. "I want to do that too!"

"We destroyed quite a few things belonging to a lot of people," Luna commented off to the side, noticeably concerned with other details. "I think we almost ran over a monkey... Or did we free it?"

"Alright, calm down... I'm glad you liked it," I said with a teasing smile. "What do you think of our first adventure? A bit chaotic and unexpected, but... Ready for something a little quieter?"

Both stayed silent for a few moments, looking at me as they tried to catch their breath. That was when I saw Ginny compose herself a bit and, with an utterly serious look adorned with a smirk, she blurted out:

"No..." she answered enthusiastically, rejecting my proposal.

I was a bit surprised to discover that trace of madness in her eyes: the look of a young girl with no fear of anything who only wanted to keep breaking the rules. As her brother, as someone who had already done quite questionable things, and as someone who loved her deeply, I nodded.

"Alright, I suppose we can take some time to sow a little chaos... And don't worry, Luna: when the trip is over, we'll fix everything. So, shall we cut loose a bit these days while we go sightseeing?"

"Yes!" both exclaimed in unison.

And so began our adventures in Egypt.

...

That same night during dinner, Ginny and Luna assumed control of their clones while eating, right when the subject of the "motorcycle youths" was brought up once again.

Even within the magical community, news had spread about three youngsters who sped through Cairo on a Muggle vehicle, causing destruction wherever they passed. People spoke of a boy who drove with a skill that put professionals to shame, a redheaded girl who hit everything within reach with a bat as if she needed to blow off steam, and a platinum-blonde girl who stole and liberated every caged animal she came across. Most surprising to the locals was that Muggle law enforcement hadn't even been able to keep up with them or find the slightest clue.

A deep blush and nervousness overtook the girls' faces, whether from the memory or from the effort of disguising that none of it had anything to do with them. It was quite amusing to hear Mum and Dad label them as rebellious, chaotic, and dangerous—a real headache for society—wondering what kind of parents would raise such irresponsible youths... without suspecting that the three "criminals" were sitting right at their table, simply enjoying the chaos for the pure thrill of letting loose.

Despite the bitter swallow of embarrassment, the girls thoroughly enjoyed the prank, and the secret only added to the excitement. When dinner concluded, it was time to turn in for rest.

Ginny and Luna handed control of their consciousnesses back to the copies and returned with me. At the luxurious hotel, a massive bed awaited us, perfect for housing several people and far superior to the tiny beds in our family's inn room. When I stepped out of the bathroom, I found both of them bouncing and playing on the sheets.

The three of us ended up sleeping together... much to my own mortification, as both of them liked to cuddle and touch while sleeping. My primal instincts, which were always threatening to take control, worked against me in those moments. The worst part was that I couldn't leave a clone in my place to slip away and enjoy myself with my women in the fiefdom: Luna would notice immediately, and Ginny would scold me. Some time ago, when my power increased, "Luna sense" could no longer distinguish between my copies and my real body, but now that I was weakened, that perception was working again. I had to wait patiently for both of them to fall into a deep sleep before I could escape.

Yet, despite the complications, the day had been immensely fun. And this was merely the beginning.

...

Over the following days with our family, we visited various spots, both Muggle and magical—the latter visited only when the itinerary crossed between communities, as we weren't actively seeking them out. Ginny and Luna swapped back into their real bodies to spend time with the others on multiple occasions, unlike what happened on the first day. Although they weren't there all the time, they did show up in person if there was something fun or a significant family activity; otherwise, they left the clones in charge. Perhaps they felt a little guilty about their escapades, but that didn't stop them for a second.

We visited stalls and shops, marveling at local specialties. Whether it was clothing, magical artifacts, or simple books, there was always something new to discover. Everyone bought some trinket or at least kept it in mind to acquire later if their budget allowed. We also toured a few magical communities on the outskirts of Cairo; although they didn't differ too much, each site allowed us to delve a bit deeper into the native culture. It was possible to bump into an acquaintance—much like Bill was working there—or, failing that, make new friends among the more receptive locals.

The highlight came with our visit to the desert. After casting a simple Muggle-Repelling Charm, we secured a section all to ourselves, and the magic unfolded. Being there was like playing in the snow, but with sand: sand angels, sculptures, hideouts, and rolling down the dunes. The twins didn't take long to ignite a full-blown projectile war that was chaotic at first, until we got the hang of it and the fun skyrocketed. Even our father joined the fray. Those who demonstrated the greatest skill were Bill and Charlie; the former thanks to his experience as a Curse-Breaker with defensive and offensive magic, and the latter from his daily coexistence with dragons. Naturally, the twins contributed their share of brilliance through strategies that were as sudden as they were outlandish. Ginny and Luna, for their part, were at a disadvantage because the copycats' magic was weak, but that turned out to be a hidden blessing: not only did they safeguard their true powers, but they made the most of their combat reflexes. Furthermore, seeing the children behave so normally helped calm the mood and relax our parents. Of course, we understood what a real sand fight was like when we witnessed local youths dueling at a near-professional level... a spectacle the twins joined without a second thought.

We tried exotic foods; some were delicious and others frankly inedible. Since everyone had a different palate, reactions ranged from impromptu tastings to instant spit-takes and the twins' usual practical jokes. We also fulfilled Percy's wish and visited the library, though a few grew bored within minutes and preferred to step outside in search of another distraction. We only toured the pyramids from the outside, as Bill had a special excursion reserved for us over the weekend—one that would reveal far more than the Muggle world ever knew.

However, setting family time aside, the girls and I did plenty of other things... or rather, the same things, but in our own way. Free from adult restrictions, we were completely liberated. With the girls, we toured bazaars and markets, both Muggle and magical, and unlike our family, we didn't hesitate to flaunt our wealth. If something struck us as pretty, we bought it even if we had no need for it. Merchants adored us: although we spoke like natives and were foreigners in everyone's eyes, we spent money like fortune deities. To say they treated us like their own parents was no exaggeration, and our reputation grew even further when we began donating a large portion of what we acquired.

We visited far more places than our parents could ever imagine, often traveling by motorcycle—though I had to cast countless Deflection and Camouflage Charms throughout the journeys, as they had made us wanted individuals, risking trouble for other foreigners fitting our description. We stopped at every street stall we crossed to sample everything from the most luxurious dish to the cheapest, despite the inevitable stomach troubles afterward. Naturally, I could fix them in an instant, though I enjoyed watching Ginny and Luna squirm in pain until they got mad at me for recording it all; especially that time Ginny accidentally passed gas and it got caught on video... Yes, I planned to tease her about that forever.

Naturally, we drew attention: two beautiful, uninhibited young girls with a natural charm so effortless they radiated sensuality even while eating or joking around. Attracting stares was inevitable, but we were hardly easy prey. The girls found it hilarious whenever some criminal attempted to mug or kidnap them. By foregoing magic and defending myself purely through physical power and martial arts, my fighting style awakened a fierce instinct in them that made them thrilled and cling to me even tighter. Ginny even wanted to learn, and it didn't take much effort for me to teach her a few techniques and provide her with items or food to boost her physical attributes. Luna joined in subtly as well, relying on harmless yet highly entertaining gadgets I had crafted for her.

From then on, honest citizens weren't the only ones who had to watch out for those chaotic, lawless youths during the day; as night fell, criminals learned to fear them. Rumors of a pair of "living traps" spread like wildfire after it was confirmed that every mugger who tried to cross paths with us ended up beaten black and blue. Most terrifying to Cairo's underworld was the sheer speed at which it happened, with no apparent trace of how they moved from one point of the city to another. Some believed it was different gangs made up strictly of one male and two girls with distinct features; others were already spinning ghost stories. In the end, the sharpest thieves realized that if they spotted three people matching that description, it was best to vanish immediately, as not even firearms could hurt them. That didn't help much, though; if they didn't come to us, we went looking for them. For several consecutive nights, we dedicated ourselves to hunting down bandits across the Egyptian capital, becoming a sort of Batman-style vigilantes who brought crime down through night-time enforcement.
