At first, although she was overwhelmed by Azriel's presence, it wasn't that big of a deal since she was literally raised by one of the strongest beings in the entirety of the Universe. Not to mention, just like Shadow said, Azriel himself was in a completely different Universe; there was only so much he could do from that far away.
So yes, Sharnoth was overwhelmed, but it wasn't to the point of intimidation or her completely zoning out.
Things, however, changed when Azriel used the words "your mother." Sharnoth's ears perked up the instant she heard those words, even more so when she heard a woman's voice.
