Lind was followed by his pack down a corridor near the central towers. Most of the structures were built to complement the Blessed Crimson Range. Only a few towers remained and only in places that did not deviate from the flow of the later buildings.
Space was plentiful but the sanctuary from the Fiends was not to be trampled upon in Lind's view.
If anything, the feeling of safety had only increased since they had done it. The ring of powerful beasts outside the ranges also kept human and demon powers far away.
It was a safe place to come, he had ensured that, yet those powers imposed their will on the land and would not align with his aesthetic. There was plenty of room so it was not an issue, plus he had literally saved the world.
It was hard to argue with him after the war.
The towers were very different from other areas. While he had taught his family how to make their own Havens, those were personal spaces for them. The towers were professional space.
