Their work of centuries that followed the end of active warfare brought prosperity in the millennia that followed. It was a long time for Immortals and below but for the Divine Realm cultivators, it was but a moment.
Things had changed. Some factions wanted to reclaim what was lost but their main backing had vanished. The Master Tiers had no desire to go back to the old ways.
They had learned what was possible through cooperation and negotiation. It would not last but for the moment, they had other priorities than power.
No one stopped sects or kingdoms from forming, they just had to get by on their own power. The alliances that once ruled the Divine Lands could not seem to come together. The knowledge that the Master Tiers could simply ignore or destroy them made them focus on development and secure their own areas.
